For this reason, One Zone Devices now offers a unified set of matched components that provide a high level of convenience and safety. The C.T.S. (Collision Tolerant System) is designed to bend rather then break when overloaded, thereby avoiding catastrophic failure.

Our new ceiling column is an all steel construction. The new design provides greater working strength and in the event of an overload, will deflect or deform thereby avoiding a catastrophic failure. A compression spring system built into the ceiling flange allows the column of deflect if overload occurs from the x-ray gantry, providing protection to the column and the ceiling structure. |

C.T.S. Double Action Suspension System
Our C.T.S. suspension arm has been improved in many respects. All cast aluminum sections have been replaced with welded steel assemblies. As with our C.T.S. ceiling column, our new suspension arm will deflect or deform if subjected to excessive overload. The outer finish covers of the new arm are pleasingly contoured plastic and easily replaced to maintain cleanliness. The security of the accessory-to-arm retaining system has been improved in our new design. In the event the retaining collar is incorrectly positioned , a warning sign appears to alert the user to this unsafe condition.
C.T.S. Track System
Our new ceiling track system uses heavy duty extruded rails produced without joints or seams in lengths up to seven meters. The movable carriage, made to accept our ceiling columns, it is fabricated from 25mm aluminum plate. Eight urethane rollers mounted with sixteen shielded precision bearings provided smooth operation. Should any or all of the rollers fail,the carriage plate will remain supported within the rail system due to its unique design.
System Summary
The design features in the suspension system supplied by One Zone Devices have confronted the problems found in all other systems in the past. This system recognizes that certain collisions and "overload" conditions cannot always be avoided even with adequate training and caution. The One Zone Devices Collision Tolerant System is designed with the concept that the consequences of equipment collisions must be reduced by the unique features provided by One Zone Devices.
